Pandas Keep The Streak Alive!

The pandas won on Saturday against the U of Manitoba Bisons (the defending champions)  4-1. At the beginning it was close, but then it was all Pandas. The team captain (my next interview) got one goal and one assist.

Bears and Pandas update

So far the season for the both the Bears and the Pandas has been been amazing.

Bears: With six wins so far and only two losses, it’s obvious the Bears are having a solid start to the season. One more great feat is  having Chad Klassen (one of the Bears forwards) named the Hudson athlete of the week, with seven points in only two games he gets a well deserved reward.

Pandas: The Pandas remain undefeated with seven great games. The Pandas also have Hudson player of the week, Leah Copeland, she had a five point weekend which included the game winning goal against the cougars on Saturday. The Pandas take on the defending champions, the University of Manitoba Bisons on Friday and Saturday.

Tyler and Me

I met with Tyler on Sept. 15 at Clare Drake Arena for the interview. He’s a really nice guy, and a great hockey player.

Tyler told me that one of his superstitions is that he doesn’t stand on the blue line for the national anthem, he never has.

Here’s part two of me with Tyler Metcalfe

I met with Tyler Metcalfe of the Golden Bears…
